A deciduous clump forming perennial grass with erect stems of blue-green narrow leaves with a white midrib. Shiny red flowers close to the foliage in October. Approx. 180cm tall. Tolerant of most conditions but best in full sun in reasonably fertile soil. An attractive addition to the mixed or grass border or use as an individual plant to make a statement. If flowerheads are left on over winter cut to the ground in early spring.
