Herb

Genus: Mentha

Species: x gracilis

An attractive form of mint with variegated gold and green leaves and mauve flowers from summer to autumn. Plant in moist, well drained soil in sun or partial shade. Ideal for tubs and pots. Good with green salads and fruit salads. Approx. Ht. 50cm. Mint is invasive, so if planting straight into the garden, it is advisable to sink a large bottomless container into the ground and plant the mint into the centre, to inhibit the spread.
