A vigorous, deciduous climber that clings by aerial roots. Lovely flat heads of white fertile and sterile flowers in summer. Dark green leaves turning yellow in autumn. Approx. 15m tall if let go but can be kept smaller with pruning. Ours is in front of a wall and only grows to about 1m tall but spreads sideways. Any reasonable soil, moderately fertile, humus-rich in sun or part-shade. If needed prune in early spring.
