Aconitum fischeri

A clump forming deciduous perennial that is shorter growing than most other varieties. Spikes of large purple-blue hooded flowers in August-September. Broadly dissected, thick and leathery glossy green leaves. Approx. 25cm tall. Part-shade in fertile,moisture retentive soil. Excellent cut flowers. Ideal in the border or more naturalistic area. All parts of plant are poisonous if eaten.
