Cultivar: 'Bressingham Spire'

A tall growing deciduous herbaceous perennial ideal for a shady situation. Not eaten by slugs so can be used instead of Delphiniums. Upright stems with deep-violet hooded flowers from summer into autumn give late season colour. Green foliage. Approx. 1m x 30cm. Can be used in the border or woodland planting. Best in cool, moist, fertile soil in part-shade. Good for cutting but contact with foliage may irritate skin. Poisonous if eaten.
