Aruncus aethusifolius AGM

Aruncus aethusifolius AGM is a superb compact growing herbaceous perennial with attractive feathery foliage rather like a small Astilbe. White flower spikes in summer that dry brown and can be left on the plant. Light green feathery foliage that turns red, orange and yellow in autumn (if quite dry at the root) before the foliage falls. Approx. 30cm x 40cm. Some sun or shade in reasonable soil. Lovely in the border or a container. The photo shows the colour of autumn foliage.
