Astrantia major 'Pink Pride' is a clump forming, deciduous perennial with attractive pincushion-like pink flowers over a long period. Green foliage. Approx. 60-70cm tall. Moist,fertile soil in sun or shade. Ideal to create a cottage garden or more naturalistic effect in the border or wild area. Easily grown.

Looks good planted with blue, white or pink Geraniums for early summer interest and Anemone japonica varieties for later summer colour.
