Lonicera caerulea edulis 'Kamchatka'
The honeyberry is an edible form of honeysuckle. Sweet blueberry-like fruits that can be enjoyed straight from the bush, or baked in jams, pies and muffins. The taste is similar to that of blueberries, with a slight aftertaste of honey.The oval purple-blue honeyberries begin to ripen in early June. This exceptionally hardy shrub is long lived and easy to grow, producing more delicious berries year upon year. You will need to plant at least two for successful pollination.
