Anemone x hybrida 'Whirlwind' is a deciduous perennial that is ideal for windy sites hence its common name of windflower. It sways but doesn't snap! Semi-double white flowers late in the season,September/October,create colour that will blend in any border. Green foliage. Approx. 90 cm tall. Any reasonable,humus-rich soil that is not too dry in sun or part-shade.
