Actaea matsumurae 'White Pearl'
Actaea matsumurae 'White Pearl' is a tall growing, sturdy, deciduous, clump forming perennial with dense upward-facing, long bottle-brush like perfumed white flowers in midsummer. Leaves are serrated at the edges, deeply veined and pale green. Approx. 120cm tall. Part-shade in humus-enriched soil or constantly moist soil in full sun. Ideal in the border or woodland area. Makes a superb statement when planted in larger groups. Attractive to insects.
Looks good planted with grasses such as Calamagrostis.
