Aster novi-belgii 'Marie Ballard'

Aster novi-belgii 'Marie Ballard' is a clump forming perennial ideal for late colour/interest in the garden. Attractive double pale-blue luminous flowers in late summer through to mid-autumn. Green foliage. Approx. 90cm tall so ideal for the back of the border. Fertile, moist soil in sun or part-shade. Enjoyed by bees and butterflies.

Attractive when planted with Actaeas, Astrantias, Anemone hybrida (Japanese Anemones), Veronicastrums, Chrysanthemums, Miscanthus or Cotinus.
