Actaea 'Chocoholic'

Actaea 'Chocoholic'

Actaea 'Chocoholic' is a new variety with extremely dark purple almpost black feathery foliage which looks attractive from spring onwards.  Spikes of mauvish-pink fragrant flowers are produced in late summer.  A shorter growing variety more suited to a smaller garden.  Approx. 60-90cm tall.  Any reasonable soil, not too dry, in sun or part-shade.  Foliage keeps colour better in more sun.  Attractive to butterflies.
