Agapanthus 'Blue Skies' seedling

Agapanthus 'Blue Skies' seedling is a low growing variety with small spherical heads of pale-blue trumpet-shaped flowers freely produced in mid/late summer. Green strap-like foliage. Best in full sun in a fertile soil with good drainage. In winter if planted mulch well or wrap container or move it somewhere frost free.

Look good planted with whites, pinks and purple in the pastel border (Nepeta, Agastache, Geraniums or Erodium manescavii) or with yellows, reds or oranges(Monarda, Achillea, Anthemis, Coreopsis) for a brighter effect.
