Achillea millefolium 'Sammetriese'

Achillea millefolium 'Sammetriese' is a clump forming deciduous herbaceous perennial. Flat heads of strong magenta-red fading with age giving the plant an attractive appearance of varying shades. Green foliage. Approx. 75cm tall. Well drained soil un sun. A long lived variety that is a lovely addition to the border. Attractive to insects. Not liked by deer.  Flowers can be cut and dried.
