One of the best with exceptionally dark purple almost black long flower FRAGRANT flower spikes in from summer into autumn attracting numerous butterflies and other insects. Silver-grey foliage. Deciduous. Best pruned regularly to stop it getting unruly. Approx. 3m x 5m. Prune in spring if required. Fertile, reasonably well-drained soil in full sun.
