Aster laevis 'Arcturus'

Aster laevis 'Arcturus' is a taller growing deciduous herbaceous perennial ideal for the back of a border. Attractive lilac-mauve flowers in October and unusual shiny black stems and purple-black leaves making this variety a must for later season interest. Approx. 1.40cm x 60cm. Any reasonable soil in sun or part-shade.

Looks good planted with Actaea, Eupatoriums, Astrantias and Veronicastrum in the complimentary colour palette.
