Astrantia major 'Star of Fire' PBR is an unusual variety with black stems. Pincushion-like flowers of dark purple almost black flowers with white centres over a long period. Approx. 60-80cm tall. Ideal for shade in any reasonabe soil with some moisture. A lovely addition to any mixed or herbaceous border or cottage garden.
