Tricyrtis 'Taipei Silk' (PBR) produces attractive white and deep violet-purple flowers from August into November over green foliage. Grows to approx. 50-60cm tall. Any reasonable soil in full or part-shade. Easily grown but often attacked by slugs when shoots first emerge. Once they get going they usually hold their own. An unusual variety for that more difficult shady situation.
