Actaea japonica ‘Chejo Do’ is A compact growing form with purple tinged young foliage and spikes of  bottle-brush like white flowers.  Late summer/autumn. Prolific flowering 60 to 70cm tall.  Cool, moist, moderately fertile soil, enriched with leaf mould in part shade.  Water thoroughly in very dry weather.
