Achillea millefolium 'Pomegranate'

Achillea millefolium 'Pomegranate' or 'Pomegranete' is one of the new varieties of Tutti Frutti series of Achilleas.  A compact growing plant producing an abundance of rich red velvety flowers on sturdy stems all summer.  Green feathery aromatic foliage.  Approx. 75cm tall.  Best in sun in well-drained soil.  Attractive to butterflies & bees.  Disliked by deer. Ideal in a mixed or herbaceous border or meadow planting in drifts.  A long flowering perennial lovely with other hot or bright colours.
