Miscanthus sinensis 'Punktchen'

Miscanthus sinensis 'Punktchen' is an excellent 'zebra grass' selection with striking yellow banding on stiffly held leaves.  The banding appears a little later on this strong, upright clump former.  In late summer it develops many reddish-brown flowers.  Approx. 1.5 - 1.8m tall.  Deciduous.  Ideal for your grass garden or mixed into your herbaceous or mixed border.  Good planted in drifts.Sun in any reasonable soil not too dry.
