Albuca shawii
Albuca shawii comes from the Drakensberg mountains in South Africa. It is an unusual bulbous plant with attractive scented flowers in summer. The small yellow flowers look like little lanterns and the thin green strap-like leaves are aromatic when rubbed gently. Approx. 40cm tall. Prefers a warm sheltered position in full sun. Ideal in a rock area, raised bed, container or front of a well-drained, sunny border.
