Cath appears on telly again!
I'm beginning to feel a bit like a film star after being on television twice in the last few weeks. This time I was

interviewd by Monty Don, one of the Gardeners' world presenters that I hadn't actually met before. The interview was broadcast on the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show programme broadcast last Friday evening, just before Gardeners' World.
I must say that I took a liking to Monty. He had a very gentle manner and was quite chatty, trying to put me at my ease, whilst we were waiting for the film crew to be ready. We discussed three of the new varieties of Agastache that we are selling this year. They are wonderful plants if you like insects in your garden as they attract bees, butterflies and lots of other insects. They are commonly called Hummingbird Mint in America.
Not only are the flowers attractive in different colours of pinks, reds, blue-purples and apricot-yellows but their foliage is wonderfully aromatic releasing its perfume as soon as it is touched or the leaves move. I always feel that this adds another dimension to any garden. Some of the varieties are taller growing but some are shorter so could be planted either in your border or a container. They require very weel drained soil and sun.
We have been given reports from a number of our customers now who have plants that survived being covered with snow up to knee height last year and temperatures of -18 and still survived!
