Achillea 'Apricot Delight'

We are featured in Gardeners' World magazine August issue

Why is Caths Garden Plants featured in this month's issue of Gardeners' World magazine?
Caths Garden Plants are delighted that one of their plants is featured in the August 2010 issue of Gardeners' World magazine.  We exhibited in the Floral Marquee at RHS Gardeners' World Flower Show at NEC, Birmingham in June and we put forward one of our new plants to be voted on by the visitors to the show.

The plant that we put forward was Thalictrum ichangeyense 'Purple Marble' and as Alan Titchmarsh said in the magazine 'a star plant has both looks and charisma'.  Our plant, a new introduction, was awarded second place by the public vote.  The article is on page 37 in Gardeners' World magazine.

This new Thalictrum is a superb little plant as it is a much shorter, compact growing variety than most of the other Thalictrums.  It is long flowering with tiny fluffy flowers that start off lilac and gradually turn white.  Best of all is the foliage which is beautifully marked and looks more like the foliage on a Begonia with its green and bronze combinations.

This 'Star Plant' can be grown in the garden or in a container which makes it perfect for many situations.  Look on our website for more details.
