The First Flush - Early Risers.
This event will focus on the wide range of plants providing interest early in the year. Advice will be given on how to choose varieties suitable for varying conditions, their siting in the garden and care advice.
Some examples: Hellebores, winter flowering and foliage shrubs including witch hazels. Barnhaven primroses - particularly suited to growing in the north of England and often long lived! Available in a wide variety of shades both pastel and more vibrant.
