Caths Garden Plants

We are a traditional family run nursery growing plants in a wonderful environment in South Lakeland, within the walls of an old walled garden.  On the walls you can still see the remains of the greenhouses where peaches and other fruit used to be grown.  We are passionate about the wide range of quality plants we grow as naturally as possible making them ideal for growing on well in your garden.  Our stock is always changing and so it is worth visiting on a regular basis, if possible, so that you have plants in your own garden giving interest and colour all year round.  We are always pleased to give help and advice about the plants or the design of your garden.

Enjoy browsing among our wide range of herbaceous perennials, more unusual shrubs, grasses, ferns, herbs and wall shrubs and climbers.  Please note that we no longer grow Clematis but are able to source Clematis and other plants for you if we do not have what you are looking for.  If you cannot visit the nursery then maybe you can visit us at one of the Flower Shows we attend (please look at Shows section for further details) as we are willing to bring any plants to any show for you to collect - we would need 7-10days notice and payment in advance but you would save on postage costs.

Last but not least you are now able to browse in the comfort of your own home, whatever the weather, and enjoy selecting plants to suit your garden.  Our mail order service offers you the same sized plants that you would buy from us at the nursery - quality plants that will grow well in your garden.  At present you need to ring the nursery with your card details for us to process your order but we are working hard to provide a secure online mail order service from Spring 2010.  PLease keep logging on to check for further details or why not send us your e-mail address so that we can keep you informed of progress!
